Under the hood we rely on Next.js 15, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS, deployed globally on Firebase Hosting with its CDN and Cloud Functions runtime for caching. That stack lets us run logic close to the user, minimize latency, and avoid shipping unnecessary JavaScript. We lint aggressively, keep bundle sizes tight, and test formulae against industry references before releasing a new tool.

Privacy is a first-class feature. Calculations stay in your browser unless an external API is required, and even then we proxy requests through our Firebase-backed functions to shield personal data. We only consider analytics that aggregate usage trends, and advertising—when enabled—lives outside interactive regions to keep the math front and center.

AtlasCalc is built by a fully remote team of engineers, designers, and technical writers. We ship frequently, listen to customer feedback, and publish transparent changelogs so you know what changed and why. When a tool moves from idea to beta, we document formulas, note assumptions, and explain any limitations directly in the UI.
